Explore the great outdoors
In Belair-Edison, green isn’t just a color, it’s a lifestyle and Blue Water Baltimore is helping our neighborhood “go green” in every sense of the word. In addition to organizing a tree planting campaign to make Belair-Edison the greenest neighborhood in Baltimore, they’re setting eco-friendly trends with their new education building. One of the “greenest” buildings in Baltimore, the Environmental Education Center uses eco-safe materials and technology to serve as an example for homeowners throughout Belair-Edison.
Our parks serve as outdoor community centers where we entertain our families and meet new friends from Belair-Edison and surrounding neighborhoods. Each summer, residents gather to attend kid friendly activities like free movie night at Herring Run or to watch 4th of July fireworks from the amazing views in Clifton Park.
Take a leisurely stroll, watch the birds, and check out the native plant life in Herring Run Park or experience a country club setting right in your own back yard at Clifton Park, where golf is the name of the game. On this challenging public course, everyone is welcome to test out their skills. Young residents can also sign up for the park’s youth golf and tennis leagues, which promote fitness, sportsmanship, and friendly competition.
Whether you like to relax in the outdoors or get active in the fresh air, our parks offer something for everyone. With Herring Run and Clifton Parks and the nearby paths at Lake Montebello, you can commune with nature one minute and shop our convenient Main Street District the next!
